Deleting your data
This is a working interim version. The final text, prepared by counsel, will be published here and will replace it.
You can ask us to delete your account and your personal data from ydt.am at any time. This page explains how, and what happens afterwards.
How to ask
Send an email to info@ydt.am with "Data deletion" as the subject.
Please write from the email address you sign in with. That is how we know the request comes from the account holder. If you write from a different address we will confirm your identity another way before deleting anything, because a deletion made in error cannot be undone.
There is nothing else to include. We do not need your name, your address or an order number.
What happens next
We confirm that we have your request within 3 working days.
The deletion is carried out within 30 days of that confirmation, and we write to you once it is done.
Afterwards you are signed out everywhere. If you want to use the site again you can simply sign in again — that creates an entirely new account.
What we delete
Your account and your name.
The link to Google or Facebook — the identifier that service gave us. Signing in with it will no longer bring you back to this account.
The email address and telephone number held on the account.
Every active sign-in, on every device.
What we have to keep
Paid orders are not deleted. They are accounting and tax records, and the law requires us to keep them for a set period. This applies to every seller, not only to us.
Those records remain, but they are no longer connected to your account: after the deletion they are an ordinary record of a sale with no reference to a user.
Once the period the law requires has passed, they are deleted too.
Tickets for performances still to come
If you hold a ticket for a performance that has not happened yet, there is no hurry. Deleting your account does not cancel the ticket — it stays valid, and you can arrive with the ticket that was emailed to you. But after the deletion we can no longer find your order by your name if you need help with it.
So it is worth asking after the performance, or keeping the email your tickets arrived in.
On Google’s and Facebook’s side
All of the above concerns the data held by us. Your Google or Facebook account is not ours and we cannot delete anything there.
If you also want to withdraw the permission you gave this site, Google keeps it under "Third-party apps & services" and Facebook under "Apps and Websites".
